Privacy Policy

DAMTONE.COM (hereinafter the “Company”) takes the protection of visitors’ personal information seriously and complies with applicable personal information protection laws of the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what information this website handles and how it is protected. When this policy is amended, the Company will announce it through a website notification.

This website does not provide membership registration, ordering, or payment functions. Accordingly, the Company does not collect names, IDs, passwords, addresses, phone numbers, or payment records through this website. Purchases are made on external marketplaces (such as Naver Smart Store), and personal information provided there is governed by each marketplace’s own privacy policy.

Items of Personal Information Collected and Collection Methods

  • E-mail inquiries: your e-mail address and any information you voluntarily include in your message.
  • Access logs: standard connection records (such as IP address, browser type, access time, pages visited, and the address of the page you visited immediately before) may be generated automatically by the web hosting and content delivery infrastructure for security, statistical, and stability purposes.

Purpose of Collection and Use

  • To respond to and advise on inquiries received by e-mail.
  • To operate and maintain the website.
  • To analyse how the website is used and to improve our content.
  • To keep the service running reliably.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.

Statistical analysis is carried out only in an aggregate form that does not identify individuals. The Company does not use personal information in a form that can identify an individual for advertising, targeted marketing, or building a member database.

Retention and Use Period

Inquiry e-mails are retained only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any directly related follow-up, and are destroyed without delay afterwards, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable laws.

Inquiry Chatbot Usage Records

Questions you enter into the inquiry chatbot on this website, together with the chatbot’s answers, are retained for 90 days to improve the quality of our inquiry responses and are deleted afterwards. These conversation records are not stored together with any information that can identify an individual, such as a name, contact details, or IP address. The chatbot does not ask for personal information, and we recommend that you do not enter any personal information into it.

Provision to Third Parties

The Company does not provide personal information to third parties, except where the visitor has given prior consent or where required under the provisions of laws (for example, a lawful request by an investigating agency).

Delegation of Handling Personal Information

To provide this service, the Company delegates the handling of personal information as set out below.

  • Delegate: Cloudflare, Inc.
  • Delegated tasks: website hosting, content delivery (CDN), traffic analysis and security, and inquiry chatbot processing

When entering into a delegation contract, the Company sets out in the contract, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, the prohibition on handling personal information for any purpose other than performing the delegated tasks, technical and administrative safeguards, restrictions on sub-delegation, supervision of the delegate, and liability including damages.

If the content of the delegated tasks or the delegate changes, the Company will disclose the change through this privacy policy.

The Company may also delegate other tasks needed to operate this website, such as e-mail services, to specialised providers. In such cases, the Company carries out the supervision required under applicable laws so that personal information is handled safely.

Overseas Transfer of Personal Information

Because the delegate’s servers are located outside Korea, personal information is transferred overseas. The following is disclosed in accordance with Article 28-8(1)3 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

  • Recipient: Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA)
  • Recipient’s contact: privacyquestions@cloudflare.com (Data Protection Officer: dpo@cloudflare.com)
  • Countries of transfer: the United States and the countries in which the Cloudflare global network is located
  • Time and method of transfer: transmitted automatically over the information and communications network when you access the website
  • Items transferred: IP address, browser and operating system information, access time, requested page address, referring page address, and chatbot conversation content
  • Purpose of transfer: website hosting, content delivery, traffic analysis and blocking of security threats, and inquiry chatbot processing
  • Retention and use period: until the delegation contract ends or the purpose of the delegated tasks is achieved

You may refuse the overseas transfer of your personal information. To do so, send your refusal to the personal information control manager’s e-mail address given below (cosmetics@seoaglobal.com); we will act on it without delay after receipt and reply with the outcome. However, the handling described above is essential to providing this website, so if you refuse, your use of the website may be restricted.
